Does Cognizant provide reimbursement for WFH setup?

Been practicing a year now. Of 6 attorneys, 4 will be retiring soon, and I was brought in to hopefully take over. I am troubled: first that my partners largely provide me with no guidance. They handed me a client with a large quantity of fairly straightforward casework and have been hands off since. There also hasn’t been any talk of a raise/performance review. How should I ask for guidance/mentor ship? How do I ask for a raise, or should I presume one is coming?

What does the recruiting process look like at McKinsey & Company ? I had a Mck DnA recruiter reach out in August saying he liked my profile and application will open in Nov/Dec. I’m on some email list and he’ll inform me about it. Then I attended a FLF event and another recruiter reached out saying she finds my profile fit for Implementation. I have call scheduled with her tomorrow to further discuss this. Another recruiter from Austin wants me to attend virtual sessions and connect. Is this normal?

I got some pretty direct feedback today. I’m extremely passionate about my job and sometimes that can translate into a lot of frustration. I struggle with anger if someone doesn’t see things the way I do (can get so convinced I’m right). People also say my feedback giving is too direct. I also get overly frustrated when people make mistakes. It’s just all a bit too much for people. That said I don’t want to lose that passion and confidence. Anybody struggle with this?
