This is a silly comment brother. Obviously they paid him more - he came back with three more years of experience lol...
90K to 130K in three years
I went from 90 (2012) to 200 (started this month)
Yeah I don't think he will get a 40% hike in 3 years if he continued
Well let's assume a promo in that time period. I think it's totally feasible
Hmmmm. 90K as a SA seems pretty good to me...I was at 85K base as a SA before my promo
Just get out and come back, I did the same
I went from Tech Consulting at D in 2012 to M&A at PwC in 2014 via RSM (1 yr to learn about M&A - no one else would let me move out of IT Strategy)
Try to ask for more where you are first, of course with solid basis and be polite, if nothing comes out of it, look elsewhere in the same field
OP - what are you getting paid now and at what level?
@M1, did you stay at the same firm or jumped around? And what’s your line of work?
I'm at 90k as an SA looking to get promoted next year. I don't think I'll get more than 12%. For reference when my buddy left Accenture he was only offered a 7% raises he took a 18% raise in industry and another 20%+ to come back to Accenture. I'm in cyber of that helps.
M1 give more details. Like how many times did you jump, what were raise % etc
Yes M1, I would like to know too and follow
I was incredibly fortunate. It all worked out at the end but there were times it did not always seem that way
