I swear, as a fellow dog owner I find some dog owners to be just the worst people out there. It’s NOT okay to 1. Not pick up after your dog, and 2. Let your dog pee/ sh*t on people’s landscaping with plants that clearly has signs out. If you can’t be a responsible dog owner then don’t be one.

As an associate at a VC firm, if I meet with a startup and they go reach out to my director or my MD, I automatically decide we aren’t investing in them. My bosses trust my judgement and they won’t engage if I tell them not to. Startup did it today, and it didn’t matter that they had something interesting. Considering they didn’t give me the materials I asked for to review the deal, it felt disrespectful.

Home for Christmas. My mom just told me my dad was diagnosed with some rare blood condition last week where your bone marrow stops producing enough new blood cells. Whenever I ask my friend how she is, she tells me all about her husband and the random things he’s doing (Dan worked from home today and got a haircut-type of stuff), and I could not care less about what he’s up to lol.
