Hi everyone! Curious if anyone here works for Slack and can shed a little light on the culture and perhaps offer a referral for an associate brand manager position I just saw on LinkedIn. With the Salesforce acquisition are SF employees allowed to refer for Slack roles? Currently a senior analyst with 4 YOE looking to break into a branding role! Thanks in advance.

Same here. The CAL ‘brought it up’ to a client executive. No change.
Finishing up that toxic project was one of the best days of my career. If I had it to do over again I would have walked out far earlier
Talk to partner, explain the situation, and act accordingly.
I’ve had a similar situation happen to me before. First off, don’t fight back or lose your temper. Secondly, I would talk to your project management about it. If they care about the well being of the team at all, they will find a way to talk to someone on the client side about it.
I bet partner knows. I was put on this situation with a client, and when kicked off, was told by partner “I was surprised you lasted as long as you did."
That is so unprofessional. Yahh take it to the partner, dealing with something like that is above ur pay grade
Firstly keep a record of dates/things said. Let your project partner know in person
HR definitely - they can advise you as well
I would let the MDs on the account know. Also, keep records because you might need to take it to HR of both companies (Accenture and the client). Please don’t continue to put up with this especially if it’s causing people to be in tears. You don’t know what people are going through as we’ve seen with the recent suicides so the least you can do is try to make their working environment safe
Hey-I’ve been in these situations before. You should start off by documenting everything that occurs. Use One-Note to take notes of verbal interaction with date/time stamps and save emails/IMs. Bring it up with your Manager/Sr Manager or he Managing Director if you have the chance to talk with them. See what happens and if it continues, let them know you can’t stay on the project because it’s impacting you mentally. Usually they will understand and let you roll off if they can’t control the client. If not, then you have all the documentation to go to HR and get a forced roll off to find a new role.
Don’t put up with this, but also handle it like a professional even if your client (and sometimes your leadership) don’t.
OP - is this in NY by any chance?
Completely unacceptable. If Director and Partner are unwilling to stand up and stop this talk to your HR department. That is a hostile environment.
