ZS Associates Hello folks, I am a permanent employee of Persistent. I am deputed at the client side. My client is an ZS associate. Recently I have resigned from persistent. But ZS is very happy with my work. They don't want me to go. My ZS manager has asked the persis manager to retain me OR remove the cooling period clause, ZS is ready to hire me as a permanent employee. I will be very happy is ZS takes me as Permanent employee. But will persistent remove cooling period clause? Persistent Systems Limited ZS

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

We need to start naming these awful companies. I’d like to start a “where to never apply to” blacklist.
It’s crazy! It’s a white-collar, manager level position that can easily be done at least 70-80% as well remotely. But the client organization is way behind the curve on regulations.
Just wanted to share my bewilderment.
She should be smart enough to say ‘no’. This is not a fight McKinsey wants to pick.
Yikes.
How old are the kids? Maybe they're too young to be affected by COVID and just had normal flu?
My husband’s client’s kid attends the same daycare where a 2 yo tested positive. The family of the young kid came back from Florida 2 weeks ago. The client’s child didn’t show any symptoms but very likely got infected by the 2 yo and infected the mother. Now the client is sick and so are 2 other consultants who were working with her in the past weeks.
Does seem crazy
She should get her kids tested for strep and flu. If both negative, then time to worry. That said, if they have nasal congestion, much less likely to be COVID. The WHO study said that was a symptom in only like 5% of cases.
If our clients were smart, they wouldn’t need us...
To keep everybody from freaking out, the governments have downplayed asymptomatic spread.
