I have an offer in hand, waiting on my background process to clear (anticipated next week). At the seams time expected to roll of my client project this week. How should I approach bench/ staffing?
Blessing or curse: When your client is federated through Skype so they can IM you. I lean towards the curse side.
Female 🐠 - has anyone had a laparoscopic myomectomy? Would like to hear how long it took you to return to: 1.) light remote work 2.) full time remote work 3.) traveling to client. Thanks
In consensus, how much does it make a difference if most of your work was outside of your specific service line? (I.e., I'm in SI and am on a long term DD project)
When the client sends you a "mockup" of exactly how they want the vertical piece to look (after rounds and rounds) and it's a widescreen PPT — 💀

Hilarious, wires take a larger haircut than RIAs and indys because of everything they "provide" and then make you pay for your own leads, headsets and hardware, client service software. What a joke.
I had a quick freelance job and am now invoicing. Do you itemize each portion of the project? E.g., About page - X hours, product descriptions - Y hours? Or just “All your stuff - ZZ hours”??
Should I send a client a goodbye email on my last day? I was heavily involved in this project. Feel weird not saying something. Any advice?
SM: project going smoothly? Me: ...
Regarding Marriott's MegaBonus: If I always fly to the client site on Sundays, is it worth it to stay the first 2 nights in one Marriott and then the last 2 nights in another Marriott just to (cont)
Just got a job offer (client side), and I think I’m worth at least a little more than the offer. How do I not psych myself out of trying to negotiate for ~$5k more? Afraid they’ll change their minds.
A client based in Japan had sent us a list of some Japanese texts and their English translations at our request which we needed. SM: Copy all the Japanese texts and their translations from document that client sent into a new document and send it back to client (to whom it came from) and ask them if they are correct. Me: Why are we doing that? SM: Just to ensure that we have validation in an email that client sent these translations to us. Me: Facepalm 🤦🏻♂️
My client wants a SOC 1 but they aren't a service provider. My senior manager is pushing back but the client still wants to do it. I don't think we can do a SOC 1 because it's not applicable.
Has anyone jumped from Big 4 Advisory to Tier 1 Consulting firms (e.g. MBB). Was the jump at the same, higher or lower level?
Anyone else notice there's no longer and option to purchase airbnb gift cards with Amex points? 🤔
Do any of you who consider yourself primarily investment based, do taxes and p&c insurance? Would it be too much to handle as a sole producer with an assistant or 2?

Is COVID-19 causing delays in offers (after onsite/superday)? What is the typical turnaround time after superday at FAANG and PE?
Not dick measuring but really curious on what the % raise you've gotten the past 2 years. Gotten 4% and 3% here and feeling like I'm getting screwed over.
What's the general thought on 'Network Engineers' in the tech industry. They are not certified engineers but can go through tough certification examinations for credentials. I was in an argument at work today about the need for network professionals and the technicality of their role and would like to ask the audience.
Is anyone using 'Pension Bee' or something similar? I've got 3 pensions now and will be starting my 4th with my new job in September... (The first was for an internship 😂, the next is my biggest from 5 years of working and then just 1 year in my most recent job) I don't know if moving these 3 over to Pension b Bee is best or what else I could do... So any comments on this will be super helpful!
Anyone have any insight into Greenberg Traurig’s compensation and bonus structure? They seem to be one of the few AmLaw 50 firms with little insight into minimum hour requirements and bonus structure.
I am currently on maternity leave with an infant. Covid is making me very anxious about hiring a nanny or day care, when I need to return to work. How are you all, especially those with babies managing if both you and your spouse are working full time? Please share your experiences and suggestions

Hi ladies, looking for advice on pivoting my career. Currently primary engineer for a system that supports 25k users across 200+ offices. I'm bored with IT. I'm a Jill of many trades, networking, wireless, voice, etc. I'm currently working on learning various netops tools. I like figuring out how to put pieces together but it's not much of a challenge anymore. I'm working on putting together a 5 year plan to move to 100 percent remote because my husband wants to retire and move. Advice?
Have you ever worked with a partner that points out every error you make (regardless if it’s nothing or a bigger error) but never points out anything good you do or says thank you? How do you not let it slowly chip away at your confidence and self-worth? I try to let it roll off my back, but it does ultimately affect me and my enjoyment of my job.
Any one from 'themathcompany' or have experienced interview process with this company? I need to know some specific point, will reach via DM.
