My COBRA medical in-network plan rate is $607 per month. Is this a good rate? Anyone has a recommended medical insurance for bridge period between to jobs that you believe is better than COBRA? Also appreciate if there is any specific advice or things to pay attention to regarding using COBRA, it’s my first time doing this.

You can back date cobra, so don’t get it until you need jt

Ohhh that’s absolutely good to know - thanks so much!!!

What’s cobra

Under COBRA act you can continue your insurance with employer at your own expense for 18 months after you left the firm

The 60 day retroactive limit for COBRA was temporarily suspended, so you can retroactively elect it up to 18 months later. So just be uninsured, and only elect if you incur large medical expenses.

That’s awesome!! Thanks so much!

Is there a “common term” for eating a diet mostly comprised of plants (but not restricting other food groups automatically)? I like to search for recipe ideas on Instagram and common hashtags make it easier to find good ones! I see a lot for paleo, keto, etc. but wasn’t sure if there’s an equivalent for a plant based diet? Would also love any recommendations for related people to follow if you happen to know of any!

So sick of my PM pushing back on me and having this attitude that the clients are evil and trying to ruin our lives. I spend more time arguing with her than we do actually routing and pushing things forward. While she’s whining, I’m pushing the team. She told me the deadline wasn’t possible. Well, we did it, without one late night. She treats me like a child and acts like I don’t have credibility just because I’m young and she’s a more mature director. Helpppp how do I facilitate this

Good morning! I work in Medicare sales and I’m just getting tired of sales because I have to change these elderly people on their insurance very frequently, and it’s frustrating most of the time. I eventually want to be a Christian counselor and I just stared school but that’ll take awhile to get where I want to be. I just want to be happy right now without taking a major pay cut leaving sales. I’m making 80k now, I don’t need to keep making that but a decent amount while still helping people. 🙏

I honestly don’t know how to navigate through this.

The most frustrating thing about getting rejected for a job is the excuse they use which gives zero insight into what it really was.

During my interview for a Senior role they asked what I felt was important in my role as an assurance senior. One of the things I said is I felt coaching was an important part of my role and gave my reasons. Their excuse for not giving me the role was because the company wasn't big enough and they didn't have anyone for me to coach.
