My colleague, who was associated with Willis Towers Watson as a Insurance Process Executive (Non IT), recently gave interview for Accenture as a BA and cleared the interview. She has no prior experience in IT but has strong process knowledge regarding UK and Australia General Insurance and excellent communication skills. Would she be able to handle the role of a BA is her Q. I have been training her on what BA does and how documents are created and she is a quick learner.

That totally depends on the kind of project she gets. She should be able to act as an interface between Dev & Product Owner , Understand her role in agile , formulate requirements and understand non functional requirements while doing so , able to take up grooming sessions for user stories etc etc If she is comfortable with above stuff it’ll be alright, rest all depends on the analytical ability one possesses, it shouldn’t be too difficult at the initial stage

Thanks. Anything specific that she would need to focus on ?

Does anyone know how closely organizations monitor their employees individual investment securities? I just started a new back office position at an investment bank and have to declare my wife's trading activity. My role is non client facing nor do I have interaction with the sales and trading teams. My wife doesn't have very many security stocks but is not happy about possibly having to now get pre clearance before selling off any stock does she have... can anyone else relate?

RSM is looking for a TAS/FDD manager/supervisor across the Richmond, McLean, and Baltimore offices. Let me know if you are interested and I can make a referral. If you are looking for a reduction from big4 hours, but still a wide variety of complex deals, we could be a good fit for you. I can personally attest the work life balance and culture is great in our mid Atlantic offices. Ideal candidate includes recently promoted audit managers.

Recently I moved to a new practice within PwC. I got my H1B approval notice extended and amended to meet the requirements of a new job role. I got my visa dates booked for my H1B stamping using my old Receipt number. I can fill out the new DS160 form that’s required at the time of OFC interview but how should I tackle with new Approval notice/receipt number situation since I can’t edit the user profile on my visa application page. Has anyone encountered this before ? Any help is appreciated here

I have a colleague who always shows up on our morning meetings with wet hair from where it’s clear she just got out of the shower before the call. Our manager took her aside and apparently told her that it didn’t look professional on client video meetings. I wouldn’t have even known or thought about it but someone else in our team was talking about it. It seems like a nonevent but I am curious what everyone else is thinking about experiences and expectations for dress on client video calls?
