Debating betwn staying on with current team after negotiating a 30% increase or accepting PT role, with this negotiated increase the hourly pay is $1 different. (Prior to this I was making nearly $11 less/hour from PT role) PT role was 20 hours/week and emailed ask if I’d be open to 30 which is more appealing. 7.5 YOE in current role, worried about losing seniority in economic climate and risk to layoffs in PT role but being a parent I have been seeking more time not working too. Happy Resurrection Sunday. I have RA & Fibromyalgia. It’s really hard balancing working from home & a family (married w/ 3 kids). I’m having issues with flares. I feel as though it is affecting my relationship with my family more than it is affecting my work. The reason I took a stay at home position was because I wanted to spend more time with my family and because of my health issues. I want to find that balance even though I have auto immune diseases. Hey everyone! I recently graduated this past December and started my current role January 24th. Just this morning I had a recruiter from Meta reach back out to me about a role I applied too last month. Should i schedule an interview with the recruiter? What if it goes well? Would it look bad if I quit my current position to take this role if I end up getting an offer? One reason I would want to switch is because the pay would most likely be a lot higher at Meta then in my current position.

Would you:

Go for a perm position for a large manufacturing company recruiting assemblers and Machinsts in aerospace. 70k

Or

Temporary contract with the government recruiting for various low skilled work with higher than average wages. Min 82k with possibility of extension

Advice please. I’m a senior recruiter working nearly 100 reqs from conception to completion. The expectations are completely unrealistic and the culture is toxic. I’ve voiced my concerns a few times but nothing happened. Would quitting until I find something else be a better option? I found a new job (huzzah!) and turned in my 2 weeks notice yesterday. But I started feeling crummy last night and went to the doctor for a COVID test today. Lab results already came back positive. So now I feel super guilty about basically calling in sick to my last two weeks of work...should I try and push out my start date to help out current employer? Feel like current supervisor is going to throw a hissy fit.

Hello, what benefits do you think are most beneficial to employees excluding pay, health and education.

I have been in various customer service/support roles for the entirety of my career but am now interested in transitioning into a HR role. I am on the "Bench" with Disney GHRO (since March 1st) and have no idea if/when I will receive an offer. I have also been invited to interview for HR Contact Center Associate - Work from Home, ERC DLS Support at Amazon. Does anyone have any insight into either of these roles or advice? I do not yet have a degree but plan to go back this fall. Thanks.
