Believe it or not, my last company found theirs on Upwork. Ended up working out great. I wouldn't rule that out.

Hi fishes,

Anyone onboarding to INFOSYS Chennai on 24.01.2022 (Monday)???

Especially for SAP ABAP?

Thank you.

I’d love honest reactions to help ease my mind. I’ve been paying lower rent (like 1400) in HCOL city last few years. Finally debt free from grad school as of this year. Total comp is now low 200k. Does 2800 for rent (im looking at new leases this week) feel high? Moderate? Just want a pulse check on if I’m being reasonable with the 2800, compared to how others think about it. I think it’s ok given HCOL and I now work from home. Disclaimer: this isn’t humble brag stuff. I just want real advice.

My boss and i spoke on hourly of $15/hr and said we can revisit once I’m done training… $15 is out of the question.. i cant even pay rent off of that. What do you all suggest is a great entry level salary for a Criminal Law paralegal ? I’m in Houston

Can someone legitimately explain to why bankers take so long to come up with LBO models on the financing side, and refuse to allow us to review them in detail? We provide preliminary feasibility analysis on loans on so many deals and the difference of what the bank comes up with is always minimal, but always takes a month? Can anyone walk me through what happens on the other side? It tends to be very frustrating.

Hi my IBM sharks !
With reference to creating a tax saver FD for tax exemption under Section 80C for FY 2022-23, what is the last date by which we need to create the Tax Saver FD and upload it as investment proof on IBM Tax declarations portal?

I know that in December we need to upload the investment proofs, but do we need to get the Tax Saver FD created before that?

A couple weeks later they wanted to hangout and the one I'm closer with asked if I wanted to join but I couldn't. I realized they had blocked me from seeing their Instagram stories for 24 hours.
My guess was maybe they didn't wanna hurt my feelings and

After 3 years of dealing with the worst firm I've ever had the displeasure of working for, I finally landed my dream gig at a small specialty firm. The people at the new firm are all SMEs featured in and contributors to the most notable business publications in the world, less than 100 employees, better benefits, unlimimted PTO, doubled my pay and landed a senior role.

Keep looking for what you want and deserve. I'm happy to be forging a better path away from what I've had to endure.

I’m contracting with a company in an admin role, but sometimes I’m asked to do projects that would normally be outsourced to a marketing or design company like designing a flyer for example. Is it out of the question to ask if I can be paid for that work under a separate fee as a consultant or something? Is that even possible?

Hello fellow HR pros! I really need your opinions on HR certifications. I am deciding between PHR and SHRM-cp. I have read just about all there is online comparing the two and can not decide. My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. I work for a 350~ company who is growing rapidly through M&A. Passions/interests are compliance, strategic vision, M&A, branding and culture
