My company is not offering any COL adjustments this year, not even the yearly 1-5% raise they've been giving out in the past. How bad is this?

Hey all, I need to run a brand strategy workshop soon and I am trying to nail down some good exercises for attendees ( all leadership) to do when they divide into their break-out groups. Any good exercises out there to get folks thinking critically and futuristically about the brand? From there I can then develop the worksheets to hand out to them to complete the exercises with their groups.
