Has anyone done the mail in test kits for Covid?
Hi fishes
I was supposed to have my Amazon Round 3 interview in the first week of May but the interviewer didn't join. My recruiter didn't reply for a few days and then rescheduled it.
Even in this rescheduled interview, my interviewer didn't join. This time my recruiter joined and said she'll reschedule my interview.
She still hasn't done that even after a follow up.
Is this common? Is this some kind of patience test?
I have no clue but I'm really frustrated at this point.

You want to notify your manager and leave administrator as soon as possible.
FMLA requires us to retain you in your current position or one of comparable responsibilities and comp. Early notification will allow you and them to find ways to cover and adjust the workload. I have also recommended phasing back in part time with intermittent leave the last 2-3 weeks. It spreads out the transition and if you both do it you can keep the baby out of daycare until they’re 4 or 5 months old. Lots of our moms have done this and its typically a win for company also. Do not worry and congrats! Previous time!!
Notify them as early as possible. I don't think they'll replace you for taking your parental leave. Just inform them and you're all set.
Thank you for the valuable perspective, everyone. I appreciate it.
Typically a company won't offer a leave policy just to find ways to fire you. Tell them ASAP so they can schedule. Also if the policy is going to change, they can let you know now.
First dive through your employer handbook to make sure you know what the policy is and that it’s clear. This way you and your wife can discuss how much time you think will be needed for your leave and when. Then share the news when you feel ready. It’s no different than when you decide to share with family/friends. It’s less important about when you share than when your leave actually begins. The main thing to consider is the earlier you share the more flexibility you have in strategizing how your workload is managed in your absence. The closer you get to your leave adjustments can always be made, just communicate/work with your benefits team.
