Are you an at-will employee? I don’t think a 4-week notice is really legally enforceable, they can’t make you continue working there. Sounds like it’s more like what they’d prefer - just say I’m able to give you two weeks when you give notice and hold firm. (You could give less but may burn a bridge)

No company is ever happy when someone leaves, but if you’re honest and apologetic with your team, at least it won’t burn the bridge with them. Hopefully.

Can’t do both jobs?
If you’re wfh on both, you can probably do it. I know as we are in post on one job, we often start bidding out the next assignment.
4 weeks notice is standard in the UK.
It's not uncommon for people to take the last week or two as holiday.
You should honestly push the other company off. They should be understanding
Four week notice is crazy, but if you agreed to it upfront, I would do two weeks of work and two weeks of vacation.
Have you asked if your current employer can be flexible? My last company’s contract said 90 days notice, but was able to negotiate 30 days and that made both my old and new employees happy.
