Project Management

My creative team and I were all new and we were doing random/smaller projects but now it’s time for a big project and I can’t get them to follow the official process for big projects. I obvs can’t....

....do it myself because I’m not creative but we don’t have any back up and client is pressuring timelines to get done before EOY. Any suggestions? Their boss is out for the next week.

What’s the project? Do you need resources assigned or just need people to hunker down and deliver?

Do you have a manager? Try to engage them if you can’t get creative going. If not, try to help creative get what they need to start/keep working. Are you the main client contact or account?

I am the main client contact...my manager is aware but not to the full extent of how bad it is. Don’t want to be to tattletale-y but looking like I’ll have to explain in further detail

Can you throw the “bigger project process” out the window for now and attack the work one bite at a time? Get a kick off on the books and come prepared with a fluid timeline that gets you to your delivery date, see where you can deliver outlines/concepts vs fully blown out thoughts or executions to start.

I think you need to get with your manager ASAP and walk them through the project and issues so they can guide you through it.
