I second the for dummies book. They are NOT really for dummies!

What's her business going to be doing?
How much experience does she have? This is going to sound pretty bad, but if she's really new to business management/ entrepreneurship, I'd consider getting one of the for dummies books. Definitely don't stop the reading there, but it may be a good start.

College is also a great place to start a business, so many resources! I'd also recommend she'd check to see if there are any student orgs she could join. And if the school has a business program she should check announcements for guest speakers and go to any she may be interested in, if allowed.
