Do it for yourself and significant other. There’s always gonna be some barrier to achieving your goals, but you can/will push through as you have with many other things in your life. Go have your baby. Good luck to you and stay strong, you’re not alone in this process even though it feels like it a lot of times.
Do it- honestly if you limit going out , its actually a blessing to be home while being pregnant.

Agree! I felt I had an amazing recovery postpartum because I hadn’t been stressing my body in pregnancy

In the US? Do it! (IVF mama of 1 pre-pandemic + 1 peak-pandemic pregnancy/baby)
Nope.. in another part of the world.. which is fairly covid free
I did IVF during the pandemic (pre-vaccine rollout to my age group) and have felt really safe through the entire process. Now I’m vaccinated and my baby is getting at least some antibodies, which will make her more protected than her 5 year old sister. 😊 Due in Oct, but have felt good about the daycare conversations we are having where they are all very transparent about safety precautions and vaccination rates of the staff. There’s never a perfect time, but you have more control than you think in this environment. Good luck!
At how many weeks did you get vaccinated?
I had an IVF baby on March 14, 2020-right when everything was shutting down. It was incredibly scary, and frustrating not to have the baby experience you expect (no friends/family to assist). But we made it! And, I wouldn't change a thing. If you decide that now is the time for you to start then go for it! There will always be a reason to delay.
Thanks you everyone. Really encouraging
I am due in two weeks, pandemic helped me work from home and hence ensure I eat healthy, make it to doctors appointment on time and generally take care of myself. So would say go for it.

Covid is always going to be here.
I know three babies born last year - all three are good!
I stated my IVF last year in the middle of pandemic (in the US). The clinic was very cautious about everything so I felt pretty safe.
I think you do have a lot of time to think about it while doing the process. You could freeze your eggs or embryos while you figure it out. The benefit of the pandemic is you have the flexibility to go for the multiple appointments and scans while the wfh / flex work attitudes persists. Once everyone goes back to office, it will be harder to find the time to make the time that IVF process takes.
Hope it helps.
