How would you react if somebody called saying they need a week for mental health?

I have a manager that does not seem to understand mental illnesses, disorders, etc. He thinks I am making excuses rather than trying to explain things (I have diagnosed ADHD, anxiety, and depression) and I’m trying to take ownership for issues but also help him understand what I am describing better as well. We are sitting down for a conversation later this week. Any advice on how to gently educate or help with his understanding of neurodivergence and other mental health considerations?

Has “We need to get back to normal ASAP!” been drilled into your head as well? I don’t see things going back to normal for A WHILE.

So I’m currently in the training process (20 weeks) and we start live phone calls next Monday and I’m a bit nervous to start talking to people on the phone in regards to their insurance. Just got notice from amerisourcebergen they are not going to follow the ada. My doctor filled out a ada form for 2 extra 15 min breaks and time away from the computer if I have a panic attack or an anxiety attack without reprimand. I was told they don't need to follow the recommendations and it's based on business needs. They are violating federal law!!!! I will be contacting a lawyer Monday morning

As a woman, I find the calls for Biden to name a Black woman VP and his pledge to select a woman very patronizing.
