I’m currently at a non-profit that works with federal agency clients on human capital projects (basically federal consulting). After not receiving an expected promotion, I began applying for jobs & was connected with a Partner at Guidehouse. We had a great convo about my skills/interests & their work, and I’m currently having convos with some directors about potentially joining their teams. How should I approach those convos to close the deal? I’d appreciate any advice about the company, pay…

Any feedback regarding HUMA?
I’d say marry a dentist or physician. And based on who you chose, date the other on the side. Covers both bases.
I wish it was that easy lol.
Contact the market place see what is in your area the number is 855-355-5777 you can shop for health plans
It's just as expensive, if not more expensive, to purchase it on the open market. It's crazy how much they are allowed to charge.
How expensive is expensive?
Definitely healthcare.gov either fill out the online application or use it to find a Healthcare navigator who can help you apply and understand your choices. Do not be fooled by low price plans make sure you aren't having to pay your deductible out of pocket before they start paying.
Go on the healthcare market place it takes some of your tax credit. More cheaper i swear. That’s what i do
I was let go from my employer and the Cobra insurance was $2000 a month for my husband and I with a $1500 deductible. That doesn't make a lick of sense. Marketplace offered $1200 a month and the plan doesn't use any of our doctors and doesn't cover my husband's medications. Those premiums are more than my mortgage which I will struggle to pay on unemployment, along with my $300 electric bill in the Arizona summers. We will have to pay cash with our doctors and arrange a payment plan. Not sure what else we can do.
I got mine through the market place. Its still kinda expensive though. And def not the best insurance.
You can ask providers if they take cash for uninsured patients. Sometimes the cash value is less than what you’d pay with insurance.
