Would love to hear about your gardening leave experience, especially in the event production sector, i.e. Gartner, Forrester, etc. I’m planning my resignation and I’m unsure if I should plan my next endeavor around it. I plan to continue my career in event production but as an in-house producer for a solution provider, any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?

This is 100% doable. Project management skills are highly transferable whether you work on events, tech projects, facilities projects etc. every company needs good project managers! The secret sauce is your resume and your interview talking points. Be sure that you can somewhat technically speak to your project management experience and find parallels between what you used to do into whatever project management role you’re looking into now. Be able to speak to how it transfers and you should be good to go. Good luck to you!
I'm in the same boat. Would love to see what others have to say about it
Same! Looking for advice to make the same transition.
I’m also looking for some advice on this topic. Thanks for sharing.
I know a few ex-event planners who went into facilities and office management. You get to still do some event management from time to time, but that’s not your only responsibility. And project management skills come in handy for that too.
