Who really has a say in whether they want to hire you? I assume the hiring manager as that’s who you’d work with directly but there are additional voices and feedback. How heavily weighted are the rest of the interviews?

Have you ever heard about “Green Line Offer” process which is supposed to be a quicker version of the standard Hiring Committee to reach the offer stage? Hey everyone, I’m looking for some advice with regards to my next career step. Currently in audit and I have opportunities to go for a Valuations role or an FDD role (both big 4). What are the pros and cons of each? (hours and learning opps, not concerned about salary) Not looking to work long term in both and would likely want to transition into an FP&A role in the future. Hoping to jump directly but require modelling experience.

I was very successful as an internaional sales exec at a startup for 15 years before we were bought by a large publicly traded company. The culture shift was dramatic, as was the way that I was expected to work. I was laid off a tortuous 3 years after the buyout.
