My father passed away when I was young and I’ve always felt a deeper connection with those who have also gone through the same experience. Cheers to you all 🥃

This is my first Father’s Day after my dad’s sudden death earlier this year. It is so hard today.

I’m so sorry, this was my 3rd without my father. My Dad was 58 when he passed. Father’s Day is always hard. Sending you immense love.

I’m in the same boat! A lot of my closest friends happen to also be fatherless, birds of a feather flock together.

So sorry to both of you. Today must be a difficult day.

My father passed away when I was in high school. He was always distant to the rest of my family, which made sense after some of his selfish actions came to light after his passing. It sounds terrible, but I’m actually glad he passed when he did... I know my family is a lot better off. Needless to say, but Father’s Day means nothing to me. Hopefully I get the chance to be the father he never was to me.

Rant: I finally got a baby registry started and sent the link to family... and immediately was told all the things I need on there that I don't have (including things I'm opting to just NOT GET, like an electric pump - why is my nursing preference up for debate????). I hate it already. I'm tempted to take it down, buy it all myself and just tell people to start a college fund if it bothers them.

I'm 38, have had 4 miscarriages and the PRESSURE OF THIS PREGNANCY is unreal.

I'm a US citizen living abroad I applied almost 11 months ago for my spouse. Married for years, kid. I wait and wait. It seems this will take 2 years, maybe more. I feel trapped. On one side the US system demands I work and domicile in US, the other side says families should be prioritized to stay together. My spouse has had enough of the process. I feel trapped abroad and locked in a dysfunctional system. We're just in limbo, it's depressing

I have PCOS, so getting pregnant has not been straightforward. We are about 6 months into trying and I am on some drugs to help. My husband basically blames me for not being pregnant yet and routinely says I am a ‘mess’ for not understanding my cycle, even though I am going by what the doctors tell me. I haven’t been stressed by having PCOS, but his constant remarks are really getting to me

Question for parent 🐠s. What are the pro and cons of having 2 or more kids. Wife and I are exhausted with our 18 month old (who we both love more than anything in this world!). While we do miss the initial 6-9 months phase of parenthood, don’t know if we can do this again. Also, with us being 35-36, we have to decide if we want to have another kid soon.

First time Dad and my 15 month old keeps running up the stairs at my in-laws place and they keep encouraging it. Stairs are almost 10 inches high with nothing underneath and I’m worried that he might slip and fall in between the stairs. My FIL is a bit of a know-it-all and keeps insisting it’s safe and I don’t agree. What do I do? Don’t want to fight the entire house full of people about this and kid enjoys it too much and cries a lot if I/we prevent him from climbing

In the parking lot, found this truck with two interesting statements. "Congrats on the baby" and "I 💓 crack whores". Hmmm...head scratch...

Hey Everyone!
I’m coming up on one year of working in consulting post under grad in a financial services vertical. I know I want to transition to corporate strategy down the road, but don’t have much interest in financial service strategy. Should I try and switch into a more applicable practice such as M&A or operations? Will I be able to break into corporate strategy without any past experience in that industry? I want to avoid getting pigeonholed into FS, but with COVID, don’t want to leave.
