Around 5 to 6 months ago I went through interview process of Infosys for ReactJs developer.

I cleared all the rounds in a couple of weeks.

The HR called me for salary negotiation.
She asked me my current CTC.
I told her it is "X LPA".

Her reply was we can offer you maximum - "X + 1.5 LPA" that too 1 LPA is variable

Then she herself told - I think you won't be happy with this hike.

I said - "I should be informed about it right at the beginning and not after all the interview round.

Salary check. I’m a Marketing Director for a small SaaS startup. I make $95k with no benefits. Advice Needed: Last month I was laid off from work, however, since have been able to secure another position with another firm (located 90 minutes from my house in a more rural part of the state) doing real estate closings. Interviewed with a firm yesterday. I’m a second year, practicing primarily in family/criminal. They asked me if I would be willing to take a lower salary to start because i have no experience in the area they practice (education, employment, etc). Not sure how to feel about being asked to basically take a clerk position for an indefinite period. Is this common?

I switched two years ago from regional real estate/energy to a local small, but established residential real estate practice. While I’ve gained so much practical experience and run my own book here, I want to shift to a non-traditional remote role in real estate but keep getting turned down. I have strong credentials but I’m worried this small firm experience is killing my marketability to large companies.

I’m pretty sure I’m about to get an offer from a new firm and will be leaving my current firm before the end of the year. In the meantime my current firm has been dumping more work on me for things that are expected to close before Dec. 31 (mostly b/c my firm keeps losing more and more associates each month).
