Tech Mahindra Hey guys, I attempted Hackathon by tech Mahindra (for jr java developer 1-3 yr exp). After 3 days I received a call from hr confirming that I have been shortlisted and took hr round on that call. Later I received a document verification mail asking for all essential docs which are required for joining, but didn't received any offer letter yet. When I cross checked mail address with my friend in tech Mahindra, he confirmed that such hr exists with same e-mail id. Is it normal in tech Mahindra?

For me, I was getting 6lpa(4.5yoe)
Company A - 10(asked 12)
Company B - 12(asked 18)
Company C - 14.5(asked 18)
Company D - 18(My projected CTC)

I set only 100% to first offer, because getting first offer is very important, you have to go any low to get that offer. Then it's our turn to get what's our worth, I set 200% and conquered it within 10 interviews and 30 days of time.
I had 60 days np as many of as have, but I told I can do 30 days np if company willing to buy out 30 days np. Sometimes I even told I will buyout myself as I will be getting double CTC than my buyout amount if I join within 30 days.

Pleas don't tell me how much I should be expecting. Just tell me how do I ask for a raise showing some other company offer letter. Is it ok to say A is giving me 5Lpa, can you please do 8 atleast.
Usually you can share break up. Else sometimes you can send entire offer letter as well if forced.
There is no harm in asking for 8 LPA. But at the end it depends on the HR and manager. And definitely tell them that you do have this offer.
So maybe they would give you 6 or 7 atleast.

Ask for 8 LPA thats not an issue but you should have that much negotiation and tech skills.
If you are confident about your interview with B then in HR round you have to wait until they tell you a number if it is in your expected range then fine otherwise tell them that you have the offer with A and expect close to 8.
Always remember to tell HR your expectations in a wide range and not a fix number.
