I’ve been at my company for three years now and I haven’t had a single promotion. While others who have been hired after me have been promoted before me. I make $55k/yr but in these times I need to make around at least $80k. What are some things I can do to be recognized or should I start looking for another job?

I am currently working at a prod based company as a QA Engineer in a maintenance project. I joined 7 months back. They offerred me an SDET+DevOps role. And all this while I was mostly working on manual. There is no scope and value to automation in this project.

I have an offer from a service based company with 25% hike from my current ctc. They have offered a API automation project.

Is it wise to leave now or should I wait for an year?

At what point is it realistic to ask for $$ to pay ourselves as founders (who will quit their job?) and how much is appropriate?

We are currently doing a pre-seed raise of $500k, but I’m really struggling to balance my work and my start-up.

I’m a junior associate at a small boutique firm. We primarily represent lenders in small scale renewables. I’m considering applying for mid-big law firms but curious what type of work junior associates are participating in at larger firms. Our transactions are fairly turn key and in my opinion not very complex, with only the occasional curve ball. Anyone work in renewables financing or other asset based financing at a mid-large size firm willing to share an overview of your work?

Just finished the last of FIVE video interviews for a new position and have to share a tip that helped me every step of the way: taping talking points to the wall right above my screen. I carefully considered my answers to the top ~4 questions I thought they might ask and wrote large bullet points for myself. It kept me on track, focused, and eloquent. Highly recommended for anyone else doing video interviews!
