My first year mentor leaving the firm a day after we had a proverbial heart to heart about always 'being honest' especially with those on your team.......and no mention of it... I'm sad you guys :(

It sucks when people that you are close to leave but it’s inevitable. You will be okay.

Maybe it was not finalized so your mentor didn’t bring it up during your heart to heart But agreed that sucks

He wasn't being dishonest. Just left it out.

“Open and honest” communication kind of go hand-in-hand (especially since they had a heart-to-heart).

Hi team i have a bit of doubt.
I have an excel sheet where column A is the order numbers. I want to add comments in column G.
There are many repetitions in order numbers but they are all sorted in ascending so all the repetitions are below one another.

If i have a comment, how can i automatically paste that same comment in all the repetitions of that order numbers if i write it in the 1st instance.

Thanks in advance

Hi tax 🐠,

I have a question for those who prep individual tax returns. My parents claim my grandfather as a dependent on their tax return and due to their low income, receive PTC for the premiums they pay on his insurance (not eligible for medicare). However, would it be advantageous to have him file for his own tax return (he stays with my parents and doesn't have his own proof of residency via bills). If so, can he get PTC if his income is 0?
