Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

Licensing is a pain, no question. However - and this is a big one - the value of Splunk is in helping people with comp sci degrees explain advanced/tech concepts to c-suite folks. Laugh all you want, but those charts and graphs are how we justify our rates a lot of the time.
Expensive as all hell....jesus...even if they offered free handys every month...it would still be way too

How much does it do out of the box? I hear it requires a ton of customization...
Expensive, but very useful if you know how to use it. Try sensu / grafana for open source monitoring.
Agree with maxmusterman and D1. Many organizations are not ready for something this advanced and acquiring splunk wouldn't add any value. It's pretty and flashy right now. Anyone see any organizations get real value out of it? Ive seen only one, it was a SIFI
Accenture has a ton of Splunk work. It must be selling to a certain extent.
Is it slunk work that is being sold, or is splunk a part of the stack which would have been sold regardless
