I was interviewed for a major tech player in the hospitality industry, had 2 interviews which for the first one the recruiter was late, and didn't confirm the interview while I emaild her to make sure I do have an interview. When she attended she said that there was no point of responding my email as we are meeting anyway. Later on I had 2nd interview with the hiring manager. After 45 minutes she said they will let me know...

2 months later and I am still waiting...

Three job interviews with a company, last one creating a marketing plan and presenting to marketing VP. I received good feedback from him. Three days later recruiter wants to give me a call and “give an update”. Schedules it after 2 days. This morning cancels last minute as they are having “internal discussions”. There’s no reason you have to put up with a job you hate. I spent many years working in a toxic environment with a boss who gossiped and lead through fear. He wasn’t really much of a leader but basically a foreman. And he could make my existence miserable. I admit that it wasn’t easy to find another job but the bottom line is: trust your guts. If you feel something is wrong it’s because it probably is. Don’t second guess yourself. Look for options and and fight for your mental health.

Gave my notice, HR pushed my term date up, then goes back on what they said because they realized they needed bodies to help out. 🙄 like why didn’t you double check with the scheduler and teams earlier. literally stated it in my email too. I can’t wait to leave 🥳

How much severance should you expect after getting booted after 1 year. I got 3 months salary

Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!

I have been on bench since I joined the firm 3 months ago. Now I have got project but still on bench. I have got mail regarding not raising snapshots because I was on bench so i didn't do anything except trainings and some learning. I don't have hours to raise snapshot for.

I'm up for a pharma agency senior CW role in the Rx/HCP vertical. I have been freelancing for 11 years, so mostly contract rates between $50 and $80 p/h (lower end on W2, higher 1099). They want to know my 1099 rate and salary requirements if full-time employee. Would $75 hourly and $110K be within range? They are in Philadelphia. I have been working in the Chicago, San Fran, and NYC markets mostly.

Is location irrelevant? Been at an agency in St. Louis for around a year and it’s going well, but have an opportunity in Denver at a similarly sized shop. Is the better market worth it or will remote jobs continue to popularize?
