Staying put and waiting for his scheduled appointment. If it gets worse before that, don’t let him wait, he needs to be in the ER immediately.

Trust me. When you have Covid you know.
If he doesn’t have any serious symptoms yet that’s probably a good sign. Just need plenty of rest and a healthy diet. I personally find ginger lemon turmeric tea to be really helpful in recovery.

Honestly? Staying put and waiting it out. If God forbid it gets bad, go to the hospital, but if it remains mild, you just gotta literally and figuratively sweat it out
I had Covid...You just treat the symptoms that you have. For me, I had sinus infection symptoms (aside from loss of taste and exhaustion) so that’s what I treated.

How old is your friend? Is he younger than 70 and has no preexisting conditions? If yes, tell him to stay home for two weeks and he’ll be fine.
That's not entirely accurate

Call hospital ask if he can get remdesvir
Same as any other viral infection...treat the symptoms, stay hydrated. Rural area stores should still have Advil, Tylenol, vitamin C, chicken broth and pedialyte. Alternate Advil and Tylenol every four hours to keep fever down, if they can’t keep food down just have some chicken broth and vitamin c for each meal. Pedialyte to stay hydrated if needed. Obviously if symptoms continue to worsen, especially respiratory-wise they should seek medical help.

There is that type of blood oxygen tester that clips on your finger....you can get one on amazon. Get one of those and monitor your blood oxygen level - If drop below 95% then call your doctor.
