My friend is currently in labor and she has been texting me about the process. She was induced, and it's really slow going so she has a lot of time on her hands. It just reminds me how horrifying the birthing process is, and I swear my own privates are tensing up just thinking about it. Soooo glad it's not me 🙃

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. It doesn’t bother me when I hear my current neighbor’s dog barking but it always used to drive me nuts when I would hear my previous neighbors baby! anyone else? 

Curious as to how many females in this bowl think they would reconsider their stance on children if (a) they didn’t to deal with the pregnancy /birth /paternity leave and (b) had unlimited access to nannies/support? also would you be more open to it if you were a man?

My friend comes over with his daughter (6) who frequently runs and does cartwheels in my home. I told my friend I don’t like it and his response was that’s she’s bored and I need to be more patient with kids. Since when did asking parents to have their kids respect your space a problem?
