My friend said he wished he would’ve pursued SWE. He’s a consultant at Big 4, 3YOE, and has a MPH in Healthcare Mgmt.. What kind of roles/work can he get if he decides to do a swe bootcamp but stay in healthcare? Would his salary increase significantly if he does that?

I have been invited to move up to the junior partner level in my mid-sized insurance defense/medical malpractice defense firm, but the terms essentially make me an independent contractor. What does your firm's junior partner track look like? I have been offered 50% of all income brought in, but I have to deal with my own insurance, pay all my own benefits, and handle my own insurance. Is this normal?

1 yoe as a business intelligence developer and just under 1 yoe as a Junior data engineer for a startup. My current company is in talks with me to hire me as a data engineer right after I graduate with my bachelors degree.
