Hi Fishers, I want to pivot my career into management consultant. I am currently working as a Market research analyst with 1 YOE. Can someone please suggest me how or where should I start to build my career in management consulting at Big 4.
Also, please suggest entry level jobs that I will be eligible for with skills in Strategy, primary and secondary research, and competitor analysis.
Thanks in advance!

Definitely a good and easy way to get fired from both firms if caught
Commenting so I can follow the conclusion to this wonderous tale

What’s it to you? Concentrate on yourself you tattletale.
asking for a friend. lol

Bad idea. Not only can be fired but it can impact your opportunities going forward. It's an ethical matter and a matter of integrity which are the cornerstones of Big 4.

report her or just leave it
A similar thing happened at my company - a person was working at both Deloitte and another big 4. Eventually was fired from both. Eventually they will find out
I agree with TM1. All big four do a pre employment clearance and confirm references. As employees we cannot give any details, HR handles those talks for us. It’s a definite red flag.
Just be a jerk and say congrats on the new role! On her LinkedIn page or something haha
Oh man she’s jeopardizing her career. She will most likely get fired and on a black list!
Some people are just too stupid to help them. You've done your best. Let her get caught, maybe get sacked and lose her accounting licence.

YOLO
But on a serious note, that is totally not right any way you look at it.
Which one does she want to stay at full time? Not sure it matters as i think she would be fired from both without much thought
Don’t your start and end dates plus all pay periods show up in the Work Number report? I feel that the background company will flag that she’s still showing employed for the new employer.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink
All you can control is you. Your decision is do you want to be friends with someone who is unethical, and maybe also not smart. Or you can really show moral fortitude if you believe knowledge is culpability, and call the hotlines of both firms and report the crime.
It’s a breach of contract. The new firm may need information from the previous firm including employment end date and/or will perform background check. There will be two w2s that will overlap. She will owe taxes.

But is that what she said?

your friend is a scrub lmao. just leave and stop trying to find a loophole
I bet the sabbatical is actually unpaid or you probably have to stay a certain period of time after sabbatical or the firm will claw pay back. so either way it’s dumb of your friend to try to game the system
Usually sabbaticals are unpaid leave and the employee is responsible for paying for their benefits while out.
Someone else tried this once a while back. Got fired from both firms.
I like how everyone here assumes she is going to 1) get caught 2) suffer consequences. Neither is going to happen.
I guess we found her
You have to pay back sabbatical at my firm, if you leave within a certain time frame after using it. 100% certain, It is on the benefits resources page.
If something is earned then why do you have to pay it back, sounds stupid.
