My friend who’s working at PwC FDD reached out to a recruiter and he has been told that PwC only consider candidates who have FDD experience. I’m so upset today because of this. I work at EY FSO assurance and just got early promoted. I wanted to switch the job right after the promotion but it seems lol there’s no hope in PwC and EY now (can’t internal transfer within EY cuz they need me to do one more busy season). Can anyone give me some advice about to switch from assurance to FDD please!

Can you help me with Houlihan Lokey referral..?
I want to apply in FDD group.

like

Yeah dm me

I can refer you to KPMG. I made the switch from EY assurance to KPMG FDD

like

It's because there are tons of new hires without FDD experience sitting in bench.

like

Honestly, forget what your friend said. It may be what they were told but doesn’t reflect the reality of the situation. Teams everywhere are in need of people, so I’d imagine you could at least score an interview. Try to sync up with somebody who can refer you to PwC (if that’s where you want to go). Otherwise, look elsewhere. Lots of opportunities out there.

like

Big D and K probably do not accept H1B transfer 🥲

Apply to other B4 and non-B4 firm as well. You can easily comeback to B4 with the FDD experience from non-B4 firms.

like

What your friend was told was absolutely not true. A lot of PwC FDD people come from audit.

like

I think this is true for now PWC hired plenty of people (new FDD joiner there will update handle). The focus is on training the people since so many experienced seniors and managers left. I think we are still short managers though

like

Have you actually talked to the FDD team at EY? We’re still aggressively hiring at all levels including accelerated internal transfers in some cases. It’s may - audit teams have 7 months to plan for next busy season

like

I talked to them a bit ago and they weren’t hiring in my office anymore

As of Thanksgiving, pwc was giving offers to people with no fdd experience. I'd bet more than half of fdd seniors and managers in b4 transferred from audit.

Hi everyone!
I work at a big med tech company as product manager. I have multiple markets under my responsibility. I am turning 30 in few weeks and I hold an MBA.
Currently I am earning 73k gross yearly in Belgium. I feel that I settled for less than what this role could have given. What should I do? Is this a good average salary for product managers? I need to negotiate a raise but manager is greedy and difficult
Any advice is appreciated 👏
Thanks!!!
