Hi Everyone - Need some insights. My PERM process was started by company in Feb’22 (currently awaiting wage determination, submitted to DOL in May’22). Its been months and DOL is working on requests from Jan’22. My H1B expires for good in Oct’23 (with all the recapture). Is there any chance I’ll have my PERM completed by then? For those of you who have been through this process, what was the overall timeline like?. Appreciate any insights you can help provide! TY!

I have an experience of near 6 years and I have an offer from JPMC and Pepsico. There's a difference of 5-6 LPA. Pepsico is paying more which is basically a variable component. In Pepsico, project/product development will start from scratch. Though JPMC is an established brand name. Which company should I join? Any suggestions and advice are most welcome.

This is my first post on here so please bear with me. I recently made the decision to pivot into tech. I have an offer from Palo Alto Networks (SE Academy) and another from SAP (Presales academy). The SAP offer is a bit better but I am still stuck between these two offers. Both companies have good WLB and a cool culture. Both also provide good benefits. pros for Palo are that cyber security is growing and it’s a smaller company. pros for SAP is that it’s more established and known. Any advice?

I've struggled with excess for as long as alcohol has been a part of my life. I'm at a low point after having too much on Sunday, being unproductive on Monday, and barely sleeping. It's this moment that makes me want to finally change. But I know when I'm feeling better, I'll think I can do this all again and next time it'll be fine. How do you manage the long calls when they drop in value due to fluctuations in short term. I had FOrd $15 Jan 22 calls at avg cost of .6. I sold them before it hit 15 with small gains because for 2-3 months it was bleeding red and I was tired to see so much loss. Now Ford in more than $16.

Michael burry tweeted this past week about bond market illiquidity issues forcing the fed to pivot by early 2023. How is this consistent with his thesis that the S&P will go down to 1800s before the end of this bear market? Won’t an early 2023 fed pivot mark the end of the bear market?
