Any suggestions on securing an interview with Apple in Austin in a senior quality manager role? I interviewed with them late last year for a role but didn't make it to offer phase. I've been in quality for over 20 years spanning several industries. Just looking to cut thru the applicant pool if anyone can help. Apple
Additional Posts in In-House Counsel
Any in-house counsel in here willing to post their company, level or YOE, and total comp breakdown? If you’re comfortable, please consider posting both your current stats and what your stats were when you first moved in-house. If there’s any other information that you want to share, please include that too (e.g., hours, interesting perks, etc.). Info on in-house salaries is pretty hard to come by, and it would be great to compile some data points here! Facebook Amazon Google Netflix Apple

Sounds like a paranoid founder.
That’s weird. So, when I was general counsel to a large state agency, the new director came in and immediately shut off our inspector general. Her position was that you’re either with me or against me and perceived that audit process as a threat. This may be your owners concern. See if there is a tactful way to approach this and explain the process. Lifting up the hood on a company can be tough and can also be a quick way to create a rift between leadership and legal.

Not normal, you should have access to the contracts in your scope.
When I was at a large multinational company there was some intentional segregation in the contract management system across countries/ entities for tax and litigation/ discovery purposes. But, even in that case we could reach out to the legal team per country to get copies of certain agreements when needed.
If I was strategic in my asking but it seems crazy that we aren’t allowed full access up front.
Anyone else ever have to deal with something like this? And how did you resolve?
That's insane.
Hopefully it’s just paranoia and can be explained. If not then you need to seriously consider leaving. No telling what is out there they’re trying to hide from you.
That’s the even crazier thing. These contracts are technically public. It would take time and effort to compile them but anyone off the street could find them. It’s a weird, regulated industry we are in.

This needs to be addressed by the GC. Legal should be "under the hood" and it's a trust issue. Have GC get to the crux of the objection.
He’s been trying but keeps hitting the same brick wall. Hence, why I am here to see if anyone has any suggestions.
