My GC informed our team that he’s leaving today. Great for him!! Although I have good job security and I’m well integrated, I assume that that some of his responsibilities will be divvied among our very small team. The bright side is that I’m not super busy and could probably handle more work. But it would mean that my job would change significantly and I probably can’t maintain WLB. What do I do in this situation? Accept the responsibilities and ask for more money? Start looking elsewhere?

Perhaps this is a silly question, but how did people here decide on their career path? I feel really burnt out in my current job and want to transition to a new role, but I can’t decide on what path I want to take, and I don’t know if trying to stay in the same field but perhaps a different environment might change how I feel. To put things in perspective, I’m only a year out of undergrad and trying to figure out if I should apply to grad school or pivot career paths.

Hi All, i am CA currently working with Deloitte USI i got an offer from Zscaler for SEC reporting team for senior analyst post for chandigarh at 17LPA fixed no bonus no stocks. My Promotion is due in deloitte in June 23 after promotion fixed plus bonus will surpass current offer of Zscaler. I doubt if i make a switch to industry it will be difficult for me to Join big 4 again

I have two offers in hand. KPMG and Deloitte. CTC is almost same whereas variable is more in KPMG. I am inclined towards Deloitte India. But HR in KPMG told me that I won't be able to join KPMG India in future as I accepted their offer. I informed her within 2 weeks and didn't do anything for onboarding. If an offer includes $160k in equity over 4 years, you would get $40k per year, right? Do companies give a refresher each year, so that the second year, you might get $40k from your first grant and another $40k from your second grant?
