After another failed relationship I think I am going to look into having a child on my own. I’ll be 34 in a few months. Has anyone done this or thinking the same?
Should I have a second child? I met my husband later in life at 37 yo. We had our first when I was 39. I thought I was good with just one as I was never someone who really wanted kids but I know my husband would love to have another and now that I have one I think about her having a sibling. I’ll be 41 in March so we need to start now. I love the ease and flexibility of one child and she’s been such good baby. I’m worried that if we have another I’ll regret it. I’m also about to start a new job.
Looking for ideas for where to take my wife on a baby moon. Everything I’ve seen is either dealing with another wave of covid or is totally booked.
Any foster moms out there? I’m curious if companies provide parental leave to support new fostering relationships? Have your companies been supportive of the time commitment during work hours?
10 weeks pregnant with twins. Starting testing on Friday with my obgyn then fetal specialist end of the month. Does anyone have any experience with twins, testing, tough decisions, and being over 35. Im freaking out over twins as I’m 36 and did fertility treatment to get pregnant. I didn’t think it would work and boom, first try, timed intercouse with meds, two babies. I’m a very small person and nervous about the health of both babies as well as my own. Any advice or experience here?
Does anyone work primarily out of a coworking space like wework or regus? New job is 100% wfh when not traveling (which is about once a month) and wondering if this would be a good option, since I have a kid on the way and will be harder to WFH.
We are currently on the waitlist for daycare/school for our second child (baby), at the same place first child is. A spot will be opening up soon but with omicron and how our older child's class keeps closing, I'm so torn. We currently have the grandparents watching the baby for now while we work but I can tell it's wearing on them, and it's a bit been distracting for me too. What would you do? Worried if we decline the spot it may be several months before available.
Does anyone have experience lateraling while pregnant? I am in the interview stages with a firm, but also JUST found out I am expecting my third baby. When should I disclose? Should I be worried about not having maternity leave or benefits? Should I hold off on making a move until after the baby? Any advice would be so helpful!
Has anyone here gotten pregnant with someone they were dating vs married to? Can you share your experience? Is that still frowned upon in 2022? I know culture also comes into play for some. Even though it seems we are more progressive now - none of my friends had kids before marriage. Especially those with professional careers etc. It seems like the whole first comes love then comes marriage and baby thing is still standard. Does it really have to be though? Especially if you're in your 30s.
Starting in a new role post baby and nothing old fits. What do you think is a reasonable budget for a whole new set of suits and work dresses?
2 families in my neighborhood just had babies and I'd like to drop them a meal today (4 adults, 1 kid, Kosher). Was thinking to make a huge pot of pasta and meat sauce and portion out, any rec for other easy and yum food to drop? Salad?
Anyone have to move to take care of a parent at a young age? I am in mid-20s living in a cool city and but feel obligated to help take care of a parent in my sleepy hometown.
Baby in daycare for a grand total of 5 days. COVID exposure notification. Baby, wife, and I are now COVID positive.
I have a hard time getting along with my future mother in law. She likes to talk about money, judging people/me and I never heard her compliment others. I understand it maybe her culture and background make her that way. But every time after she visited us I am extremely unhappy. She is picky about food I make, always want things changed in my house etc. Herself is not wealthy like she acts so maybe that’s why she comes off that way? She visits us quite often and I don’t know what to do…
How did you find a doula? In a city that I’m not connected to new moms. Peanut users all seem to be non responsive. First time being pregnant..
Wife and kid are going to be out of town for the next 2 weeks. Instead of wasting time, I’d like to do something productive. What would you do if you have say 3+ hours a day. Maybe self help, wealth creation type books, work out daily, take care of some things around the house.

After a bad round of viral fever, Covid scares and the horrible winter, struggling to find stuff for our 9mo to do outside the two rooms of our house(thanks nyc)! What do you all do to address this problem?? Him getting sick throws everything (sleep and eat schedules, our work days, child care setups, etc) our the window! Desperate for innovative and safe solutions that doesn’t involve screen time!
I miss swimming but all the gyms nearby with pools are closed with covid. I also used to like rock climbing. What all physical activities do you enjoy doing from home? In NYC so it is very cold right now and doesn't really feel like hiking options are available
Started at a new company two months ago… everyone is nice but I feel like no one is actually friends with each other. At EY, people would just shoot the sh*t and send memes, and talk about things besides work, now it’s all accounting and Covid. How have you gotten closer to your coworkers and created a warmer environment?
For firms where work is assigned through a coordinator, is the fact that you’re still consistently getting work an indicator that you at least won’t be fired soon?

Which form of marketing (brand vs. product), does a typical Strategy Consulting role best prep for as a realistic exit? Also, between brand vs. product, marketing which is a more preferable exit?
How do you manage to get covid test done in the 24 hours window? PCR takes time and none of the labs I reached out to does rapid testing.
Hi, Does anyone have any idea about xoriant? Is it a product or service based? How's the job security, WLB? And do they send employees to work from client locations?
What is the best way to work with ornery opposing counsel? Been dealing with a guy that is known to be extremely hard to work with and he’s living up to that. My personality is to be assertive in this type of situation, but as a first-year, I don’t want to do/say something I’m not supposed.
Anyone have any tips for a cover letter? Trying to get one done ASAP and haven't ever done one before. I have 1.5 YoE at KPMG and am applying for an associate position with BCG.
What is the offered salary range for the designation of Staff Consultant in Nagarro in India ? Nagarro
Hi all! Would anyone know how safe Park Hill is? I'm specifically looking at MLK Jr. Blvd, about 5~10 blocks east of Colorado Blvd, near the City of Axum Park. I was told to steer away from Five Points, but I couldn't find much about Park Hill online. Ideally, I'd like to commute into downtown via public transit 1-2 times a week, so any insights into Denver buses would also be greatly appreciated!
I use timers to keep track of my billable hours, but many senior associates and partners have told me that they just estimate their time. What’s the best method? How do you even accurately estimate?
