Thanks EY1. Yes, as sad as we are, he was old and frail. He lived a full life - he was a professional musician in the 30s, had a loving wife of 60 years, served his country as an infantryman in WWII, and had 2 sons and 3 grandsons. I'm proud to be his grandson as cliche as that sounds. I just hate that I can't tell him anymore

Mine passed away 2 weeks ago. First time someone close in my fam passes away. Strange feeling, mixed emotions. I hope you got the chance to give him a last goodbye, i am sure he was proud of you. Support your grandma as much as you can, she loved a lifetime partner in crime and will feel lonely.

D3 I am sorry for your loss. It wasn't an unexpected call, but it was still hard to take

OP - keep speaking to him. He hears you and if you listen carefully, you'll hear him.

Sorry for your loss. Your heart heals, the pain fades and you'll be left with wonderful memories. Cherish those.

Cherish your memories and remember how proud he was of you! I still randomly cry when I see pics of my grandma, it's been a year and it's still hard! Prayers for you ❤️❤️

Stay strong, OP. Remember the good times and memories, and relish those with your loved ones. It helps heal with a smile. :)

Sorry for your loss.

My condolences OP. My grandpa died a few months ago and it was the strangest feeling. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you find a way to cope with the loss.

Also Op, I lost mine when I was in first grade. I still remember the day when my dad came to get me from school the middle of the day when he passed away. In a way I'm jealous that you get to spend such big part of your life with him. Still deepest condolences.

So sorry OP =/

I have been thinking about getting a tennis diamond bracelet, to treat myself for a big promotion. I can afford it. But part of me thinks it’s pointless, in the end there is no utility to it. I’d like to wear it everyday, would that be practical? Basically, I’m trying to guess if it would spark enough joy. What do you think, should I get it? Thank you. (As a side, I plan to also take on one more child to sponsor at CI).
