I am going through the same situation with my grandmother. She has been in the nursing home and we just received a call today that she tested positive. It is so unfair. Hugs.
🥲 so upsetting. It’s like some cruel joke.
My grandfather died in April, my great grandfather died in November. COVID was a part of why they died and why their deaths were so much harder than normal on us all. Still haven’t been able to visit my grandma and hug her. You are not alone. I’m so sorry for what you are going through....
You are not alone...I lost my grandmother to covid on December 23. We thought she beat it because her fever broke and she was at the end of her quarantine period, but then she got worse again and ultimately died a week and a half after getting sick. Covid has also made it impossible for me to be with family as my grandma is buried which makes it even more painful.
Seems so unfair. He was scheduled to get the vaccine this week. Too late
