My H1B case (Amendment + Extension) was received by USCIS on Sep 2. Still awaiting an update on my non-premium case. Any visibility on the max timeline (it’s been 7 months) would help.

If you get RFE when you go for H1B stamping, do u get back the passport while you respond to the RFE or does it stay with the embassy?

Any advice on how to motivate myself to continue to be a person without wanting to disappear from society? I didn't get my H1B lottery this year, and am trying for a transfer to the Canada office. I will likely get a job offer soon, but the it seems like we need a minimum of 1 year work experience for an intra-company transfer. Is this correct? Are there any other options for a transfer?

Hi Everyone, Need some inputs before making an important decision. I have offer from Cognizant and they are promising that next quarter they will initiate my Canada visa. They are giving assurance when I spoke to them over call. Also, my current employer Accenture is also saying the same to retain me. Can I believe Cognizant?
