My H1B max is in June 2022. I have not yet gotten the i140. I want to change my job now. How much time do I have? I am thinking if I could be transferred before June 2021 and the new company starts green card immediately (basically that would be a must), a new job is possible. Am I missing something?

i have an offer of X amount from jp morgan and x+ 3.5L from Mphasis, my joining is within a week, I asked counter offer from HR, she said we will look if there is any backup candidate to fill that position then we will not do counter and it will impact my DOJ also since offer approval process takes around 2 weeks. if they won't do counter in that case would they allow me to join on the same compensation or not since i would loose Mphasis as well till then. btw i want to join JPMC
