Long does it take to switch from L1B to L1A visa? (Promoted to Manager). Nothing done yet. Any experiences?

Hi all. Would you be able to put a referral for my best friend who’s based in US but has to leave by August because she’s used her OPT. She’s studied Data Science Library sciences as well as went to Ivy League school. She’s looking for Referrals for any company that offers visa sponsorship for Canada. She was applying for tech consulting, data analysis and Machine learning opps in the US and had a few job offers (including EY) but nothing worked out because the positions were not sponsoring.

I was on an L visa and want to switch to an H visa. Can I make that change of status in Mexico? Has anyone in this bowl done that?

Anyone currently filling DS-160 for H1B?

USCIS Furlough - My extension is under process, and the immigration lawyers are preparing my petition. My H1b expires on 30th September 2020. Just wondering if my petition doesn't go by August last week, what are the chances of me at least getting a received notice, considering the furlough might put a grinding stop to legal immigration.

Can anyone recommend recruitment firms with a specialty on us visa based roles or visa transfers

I have two offers currently. One from Publicis Sapient (19LPA Fixed Component, Senior Associate L1) and other from (Maersk 21.5 LPA Fixed component, Software Engineer, JL3). Sapient is giving PWFH however Maersk is Hybrid. I am more inclined to Join Sapient, do you think that Sapient will match Maersk's offer for SAL1 position?

I had replied by saying that I am available for the interview from Monday 22nd August till the end of the week. After that I haven't received any response from the HR.
