My H1B was approved last year for consular processing, but did not activate it. Since I thought the ban was restricting new H1B. A friend recently said that was not the case. Is that right? Am I able to activate it now?

I know EY has a 1 year policy to initiate green card processing if you don’t have I-140 with your previous firm, but wanted to check if there is a way to initiate the process before 1 year

Hi guys currently I'm working in a project with very stringent timelines. Sometimes we need to put more than 13-14 hrs each day. There are 4 members in my team.
