My husband and I have saved up about $80K and it’s just sitting in our bank account. We thought we were going to buy a townhome but with the crazy inflated prices we decided not to since we like where we live currently (location could not be better and rent is crazy cheap at only $700 a month). 1) Put 10k into iBonds and $90k as downpyament and closing costs for a property (I’ll need to put in 20%, already talked to several mortgage agents)
