My husband has been gone for a week for work. Other than the help with our kids and chores, I’m not sure I really miss him. I don’t know how to feel about it. Is it an awful sign? Or fine?

Totally fine. Spending time apart and enjoying it is pretty normal! However, if you don’t feel happy to see him when he comes back, THAT would be a bad sign.

Sometimes I feel this way and it’s because after I deal w the kids, I don’t have to see how he’s doing or ask his opinions on things. I can just do whatever I want (aka watch Bravo and eat cookies without judgment... yes I’m a stereotype. I’m owning it).

Are you having other issues in your relationship? Do you fee overall happy/fulfilled/connected? If there are then you should try couples counseling. It’s better to address issues sooner than later.
