My joining in TCS was scheduled to be on 10th Oct. I got a call from HR recruiter on 7th informing that my joining will be postponed due to pending internal approval. Is it normal to happen in tcs? Is there a chance my offer has been revoked?

I had TR and MR on Sun 27th, and same day I received email for HR discussion but asked to upload documents first, I uploaded it on same day in ibegin portal i.e Sun 27th, But still my documents are in pending for verification and also, I haven't received any call from HR ?

Usually in how many days does documents get verified in ibegin portal ?

My question is
Will I be rejected during background check?
Because of the previous accepted letter
