My landlord is increasing my rent to 25%. I was expecting an increase due to the market now.. sure.. but not 25%. Was hoping for at least 10-15%. Anyway. I got the chance to chat with my 2 other neighbours today, and I found out that both of them are getting 10% increase. Just 10%. I already messaged the landlord before and said it’s non negotiable. I just don’t understand what’s going on. I’m from Calgary, Alberta. To be honest, I feel like they’re trying to get rid of me lol

I'm a Marketing student and was recently offered part time internship positiom on the marketing team of really cool FinTech Venture Capital company .During the final interview , I luckily asked for their pay range for interns and almost fell to the ground when he said $30/hr min. I would have said $18/$20 if I hadn't asked him instead .The average student earns between $15-$20 ...so it sounds really good but that's only an opening offer. Should I ask for a higher amount like $35 -$40?

Shell of a man lately and just have zero motivation to work lately. In the span of 3 months my dad has had a triple bypass heart surgery, my mom told me she’s on a lung transplant list while doctors try to figure out what’s wrong with her, my aunt just passed unexpectedly and that crushed my parents, my brother is getting a divorce.. all while I support my fiancé through a PA program taking on all bills. Feel like my job is to support so many others and can never focus on myself. Exhausted
