My life's first interview after graduation in HR is for the Recruiter post in " Concentrix". I am a bit nervous because I don't wanna miss this opportunity so please my fellow seniors give me some tips and advice for my first interview. I will really appreciate that. Thank you

Be ready to succinctly answer “tell us about yourself”. Prepare some questions to ask the interviewer. Good luck

Make sure you brush up on the company’s history, mission, etc. if it’s for a recruiter role they’ll likely want to see how you’ll sell the company to potential new hires. Also have a few questions ready for when they ask “do you have any questions for us” will show your interest. An interview is a two way street so here’s your chance to also see if the role/company will be a good fit for you!

While giving the tech interview as well as while having the HR discussion, I mentioned my expected CTC as 9-10 LPA(CTC). I cleared the interview and uploaded all the documents in the portal yesterday. Today mrng all the document verification was completed. But when I got the call for offer discussion, she asked what u expect. I said 9-10 LPA. She questioned me that on what basis I am asking for this much hike. She offered me 6.3 LPA as CTC with 21% variable. 5.2 as basic. Rest part in comments..

Hi, I'm an artist with 5 years of experience in the game developmentindustry.

After interview sessions, it comes to salary negotiation. To my surprise, the salary offer is below industry average, even more like junior-level salary.

Though my experience includes team leadership and I have described in detail how I could contribute to the company, the interviewer raised the offer, adding $300 only, still in junior salary range.

What does it really mean, and how do I win the negotiation?

I applied for a position at a creative agency via LinkedIn. I'm not excited about agency work but job hunting hasn't been going well and I applied anyway. They reached out and would like to interview. But when I went to look over the job details again, I found their listing on ZipCruiter gives a pay range, which at their high end is $20k less than my minimum salary reqs. Should I still interview with them? If not, how can I politely reply and decline the interview?

Coming out of UG, I accepted my first job b/c I thought I had to based on status of other interviews. I ended up quitting after 8 weeks in favor of an opportunity I perceived to be better, but took longer to get. 7 months into the new gig, I am NOT happy. I'm a Java developer building products in networking domain. I'm strong in converting requirements into design and building products from scratch. I'm spending 12 hours everyday at work, unable to spend any time on brushing up algorithms.
I'm not happy with the money that I make for the efforts that I'm putting in, want to switch to good product company. I wish I get more time to learn and prepare for interview. Just putting my thoughts here.

We need to grow quickly to keep up with client work. We hired 4 attorneys since Jan 1. 3 newbies and 1 senior associate with nearly as much experience as the partners. Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?
