Dad's a little guidance please. We bought a Chicco car seat with base and a stroller that accepts the car seat. . I've been reading that other brands (e.g Britax, MaxiC) do not have a base and remain in the car. So how to Britax car seat parents move/carry their infants around? Remove from the car seat and hand carry or prop into stroller?
Currently, I put the baby into the car seat and he stays in it and is carried around in it. Trying to understand the process if I were to buy a Britax.

Doctor told me usually baby kicks are very minor at around 20 weeks, but my baby moves around so much, especially after I drink tap water (cold but without ice). I went to sleepovers all the time as a kid and just wondering what reasons beyond a case-by-case basis would be to have this rule? Not judging, just genuinely curious.

Parents who have or have had a baby. How was the first year or two for you? Was it awesome, was it terrible, did it change your relationship with your partner? Did you regret it, did you want out? I've heard that having a baby can really change things between you and your partner and that a lot of marriages fall apart at that point. Just interested in stories and feedback.

Also curious if one partner kind of pressured the other into having a child/was driving force in wanting the baby.

I’m worried I am too intense for my kids. I have always been a high achiever and had high expectations for myself and everyone around me. My kids are now middle school age and I am noticing they are maybe a little too worried about pleasing me and need to relax a bit.
