I have one offer in hand and i cleared pwc's HR round 1.5 month ago but no offer letter received yet.
Is it worth waiting for the OL from Pwc or should i start considering my current offer in hand .

company initially agreed to 11.5 LPA plus 50k joining bonus during HR discussion, now theyve released offer letter of 10.5lpa with no joining bonus. what do i do??

I don’t want to tell my current firm I’m leaving for this other firm until it’s official…which means I can’t use my current bosses as references. WWYD? My partner wanted a pet but I did not. Partner got a cat anyways and now I feel resentful about partner’s lack of respect for my feelings in this. The cat wakes me up throughout the night bc of its meowing, “hunting moods”, and hunger, etc. that ONLY happens at night. Otherwise, I would never even know the cat is there. Just got an offer that I want to take. They told me that the role is full-time, full benefits, includes equity, and is a much higher base salary than I currently make (+50%). But for some reason the role is paid out hourly. AKA a minimum of 40 hours a week at the rate of the salary / (52 * 40) then anything above that I get overtime. Why would they do this? What is the downside? Aren’t they paying me more with this setup than I would have taken if it was just salary? What am I missing?

What i feel is that he is seeing a mirage that he is the sole key resource working and everyone should follow his rules.
Isnt this a behavioural issue with his personality? And point to note his exp is not even 5 years and not in a position to set rules as well…!!
Or do people have Godfathers/mothers who support such shits? 🥲Or they also let such people stay in mirage till the work is done.
