Folks, does anyone know what’s the process or the resources Accenture offers for mental health ? I’ve seen many emails sometime back regarding this but not able to find any info. Been having severe panic attacks lately and it’s getting more severe and frequent by time. Sometimes I just feel like I am out of breath and my heart stopped beating and there’s no one around me to help. It’s been little too stressful lately on the personal level and I feel it’s time for me come out and ask for help Accenture
Looking to get a role with USAA , AML CIP Business Advisor Lead. I’m not sure if it’s difficulty with getting my resume noticed, but I’ve had some trouble getting a call back with USAA. I have a CAMS & CFE certification with well over 7 years experience. Any recruiters here willing to help push me through or refer me? Much appreciated ☺️

Get over it. You probably are. Everyone has a bill rate
Oh. The person I said it to removed the post. Wasn’t referring to BCG.
Cheaper as in lower bill rates or cheap as in you steal napkins for tp?
Buy her something expensive. Throw away change you get from a purchase. Add guac to your Chipotle bowl.
Don't? Develope thick skin
You need to toughen up (sorry for being harsh, but anyone telling you to maximise your victim status is *not* doing you a favour). Managers and up will be acutely aware of the project economics in terms of the rates being paid by client and the cost of each consultant to the firm. They know exactly how much money you make for the firm each day.
If it continues then, sure, have a conversation about how it makes you feel. But don’t blow up over one comment.
Welcome to being a grown up. Again, sorry for not being super nice. Anyone that gives a deceptively nice response is lying.
Perfect answer
Privately say something like “Hey, I’m sure you didn’t mean it to come across this way, but your comment X made me feel Y. No hard feelings, but wanted to share so our working relationship isn’t affected.”
Delivery should be matter-of-fact.
unnecessary and whiny
Let it slide. Instead spend that time enjoying summer.
Well if you are cheaper, then you’re actual of higher value to the firm in terms of margin if you’re doing the same role as the other consultant. Congrats!
And same bill rate.
This is such a silly thing to get offended over
I think you should be proud of it. While they pay hundreds of dollars each year for Netflix, we gotta coast with our Ex's account. That's how we roll.. We roll like this., 😎😏
His family shares the same account. Wonder what his grandma said. 🤔
I agree with not getting overly worked up, but do think the comment was in poor taste.
When you say peer - that can mean many different things. As in, you may be the same grade, but the other person might have a higher degree, more skills, additional certifications, etc. Also, the manager could have meant you’re cheaper to the client, but that doesn’t mean your lower salary. I don’t know all the context here, but just want to point out how many different things this could mean...I don’t think they were saying you’re not as valuable
I'm sorry you're feeling this way but I doubt that this was meant as a personal slight. You're the product being sold here - if you happen to be cheaper, that's just a fact and it's integral to your manager's role to be aware of project economics. I would just let it go.
Cost is not a measure of your value. “Cheaper” almost always is driven by where you live and your DTE. I have a brand new person on my team who makes almost as much as a more experienced, higher performer - and the ONLY reason is the cost of living difference between the cities where these 2 people live. Don’t sweat it! Being a lower cost resource is actually to your advantage because it can be a differentiator to your favor in staffing - given two people with similar skill sets, a project is more likely going to go for the resource that will cost less!
Maybe your bill rate is cheaper. Getting upset at facts makes life more difficult.
expensive can be for many reasons
So OP already responded in a thread that OP realizes after reading comments that it shouldn’t be a big deal. Thinking we can all stop yelling at OP now. 😐
I was just going to say this! Thank you
It’s a fact in our world, not an insult. Managing engagement margin is a core part of our business. Engagement managers and up are very cognizant of bill rates.
Think of it as an advantage. You can get opportunities to shine where other staff would kill the budget. It’s not a comment on your value. It’s a comment on your margin contribution.
tell her that's why you should never be on the bench and have your pick of projects
Pretty much everyone knows what you make at each level in the company. Hardly a secret. You probably just live in a lower closet of living city
